The Association of Minority Collegiate Coaches (AMCC), located in Memphis, TN., was founded in 2021 by Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway, the legendary two-time All-American, four-time NBA All-Star and United States Gold Medalist currently serving as the Head Coach of The University of Memphis Tigers.
MISSION
To assist minorities in various areas of intercollegiate athletics, while addressing issues specific to those affecting appropriate minority representation for men and women within athletics and athletic administration within intercollegiate athletics.
VISION
To support and inspire the ideal of minority representation within collegiate athletics.
The AMCC is committed to promoting the ideals of integrity and sportsmanship, unifying coaches on issues pertaining to basketball at all levels and providing member services that address the needs of coaches professionally, emotionally, financially, physically, and spiritually.
